Dear friends, accept please an invitation to one of the most beautiful regions of Slovakia, which will fascinate you by the unspoiled beauty of its nature, which will inspire you by the richness of preserved historical monuments and will treat you by traditional warm Slavic hospitality of people living here.

This unique village of Rejdova is located in the region of Gemer which is situated at the southeast of Slovakia and borders directly on neighbouring Hungary. The life here, from its historical beginnings, has been connected with mining and processing of mineral wealth hidden local mountains.

Castle KRASNA HORKA

The greatest attraction for visitors coming here is extraordinary natural wealth, moreover, the region is also the only area in Slovakia, where you can find attractive natural monuments listed in the List of World Natural Heritage UNESCO.

The best known of them are the caves, for example Domica, Gombasecka, aragonite cave Ochtinska, Krasnohorska and the ice cave Dobsinska.

Chateau BETLIAR

With natural park, Secession mausoleum of Adrassy family, but also the unique churches with medieval mural paintings in Stitnik, Ochtina and Kocelovce supposed to be a direct part of European medieval culture, dominated among them.

All of these relics are connected by Gothic Route, which is the first tourist road of its type in Slovakia.

City of ROZNAVA

The city of Roznava, 30km from Rejdova is a significant centre of the region. The town has a conserved historical core, which welcomes its visitors like a centre of services for travel commotion in a vicinity of the National Park Slovak Karst.

Roznava, the town of famous traditions of mining, teaching and crafts, the residency of the Roman Catholic bishop, also administrative and cultural centre of upper Gemer, lies in the heart of picturesque country. The middle of the town is created by medieval Square, the largest of its shape in Slovakia. The most of its architectonical sights like Gothic Cathedral church of the Virgin Mary Translation, town hall, Renaissance clock tower, bishop palace, building of miners chamber and other are concentrated here.

The town Dobsina, 10km from Rejdova, placed in the north part of the Gemer region is well known as the entrance gate into The Slovak Paradise National Park. The tourist offer of Gemer is simultaneously filled in by services of establishments, for which the contentment of costumers is primary.
